Natalija worked on cataloguing the seasonality of the glaciers and ice cap velocity dynamics on Devon Island, Nunavut, Canada using synthetic aperture RADAR (SAR) data from RADARSAT-2 and Sentinel- 1 and TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X Data.
She did her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Waterloo in Geomatics, as well as a diploma in Environmental Assessment. During her Bachelor’s she completed an undergraduate thesis focusing on the seasonality of Belcher Glacier from winter 2009 to summer 2010, which led her to her Masters work.
