MSc Student (09/2024-)

Kristie is an MSc student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management studying dynamic variation of Yelverton Glacier on Northern Ellesmere Island, using remote sensing techniques to produce the most comprehensive study of this glacier to date. She has previously completed her Master of Climate Change at the University of Waterloo, where her major research paper focussed on manually delineating area and terminus change on six major glaciers of the Columbia Icefield.
Though she loves studying glaciers, Kristie also enjoys cozy nights at home, finding new places to explore, and making friends with animals.
